about

The (un)official theme song of the Witness Protection Program (though you never heard it from us!). One of the few songs on a Tater CD that has Craig on electric guitar (playing the intro riff and some during the verses). I think Brad is still doing the lead, since all the notes came out right.

Late spot with my hat and a coat in the rear
I’ve been coming to this place for nearly a year
Now you’re calling me all kind of things
I wear a lover’s tear
Well you can call me what you want to
Only Never, never call me here

I try hard to contain what I can’t let you hear, my dear
Blackout, new town, and a brand new career
If they find out who I’ve been before
Be looking for a souvenir
You can call me what you want to
Only Never, never call me here

Never, never, never, never call me here
I been coming to this place for nearly a year
If I told you once, I’ve told you a thousand times, my dear
Never, never, never, never call me here

It took time to make it to what I appear
I can finish what I started just as long as you don’t interfere
We can talk about it later darling
Where nobody can overhear
You can call me what you want to
Only Never, never call me here

Never, never, never, never call me here
I been coming to this place for nearly a year
If I told you once, I’ve told you a thousand times, my dear
Never, never, never, never call me here
