about

One of our stranger songs, with an odd tri-tone figure in the riff. Our drummer says it creeps him out. Is that a good thing? The main part of this is Craig's and then Gary tidied it up some, which is probably a good thing! Craig is playing the guitar lead here.

You’d never say that you love me
You’d never tell me it’s so
You like to play with me and keep me on a teaser
I don’t want to know

You think its cute to conceal it
You make your moves down below
You turn the corner so I don’t see where you’re going
I don’t want to know

Once I saw you running at me, arms wide open
It was such a scream
Looking at the sheets I saw the chains were broken
You’d split the seams
Another dream …

You try so hard to stay cool, now
You never risk letting go
Well you may change your mind and want me later on
I don’t want to know

You try so hard to deceive me
What’s wrong with letting it show?
Well you may change your mind and want me later on
I don’t want to know
