from Just One Night by The Taters

about

Another one of Craig's, this one dates back before Monday Week. It was done as a "bonus" track on the Burnt Taters' "Vox Box" album. This in one of two songs on this album to feature Alan McEwen and Chris Watling, the horn section from American rockers "The Grandsons"

lyrics

In 29 days I'll get you back
You've had your month away
In 29 days you're coming home
I started count today
In 29 days you'll let me know
If you're gonna stay
I guess you'll get the final say
In 29 days

In 29 days I'll get another chance
To make the same mistake
In 29 days I'll find out
How much we can take
In 29 days I guess I'll know
When to make my break
I'll find out if I stay or go
In 29 days

It seems like years ago
Since you packed and ran away
You told me that a month alone
Would help us find our way
I made it through one 24
Now my poor heart just breaks
I wonder what I'll have to say
In 29 days

In 29 days you'll find me here
In front of my TV
In 29 days I bet you I'll be
Quite a sight to see
29 days alone in this room
Counting down from three
I wonder what this boy will be
In 29 days
